Shall I have driving lessons in a Mini??

I've found a really nice driving instructor. She has a Mini. What are they like to drive? When I had lessons years ago, someone gave e some practice in a Suzuki Swift. it was impossible for me to drive, like a milk float! I was ok in a Corsa tho.'

I learnt to drive in a mini, and chose my driving instructor by the fact that she had a mini too! Would love to buy an old mini but can't do with two car seats and no back doors

I learnt to drive in a mini. It is the best car to learn in. My instructor actually had a 100% pass rate.

Only thing is if you learn in a tiny car how are you going to adapt to a larger one? You can't really get any smaller than a Mini they can dart in and out anywhere - parking spaces etc which is a bit unrealistic. I'd go for a slightly bigger car - unless you're planning to drive only Minis of course.

ask her if you can have one lesson to see how you get on with the car. I'd have thought it wouldn't take too long to decide.
Main thing when learning is not too crappy gearbox/clutch (when I was learning all instructors had Metros, which were dire.)

The way to adjust to larger cars is one size at a time! Till you reach the point where you can also afford parking sensors

yes, mini is such little car 4 wheels in four corner.
you sure will pass easily but if you are not driving mini, you will find hard to get used to your real car unless its small enough

i learnt citroen c2, my first car was estate car so was liking learning to drive without instructor.
