i have 3 children one of 3 who is normal 'size'one of 13 who is tall and skinny and one of 10 who is not obese but bigger round the waist than the 'average' sized child. I find it near to impossible to buy her clothes especially as she wants all the latest trends. Anyone else suffer with this problem or know of the answer to my problems.

I do find that different makes of children's clothes tend to fit different shaped children. Ds has always been chunky and the clothes in Tescos tend to fit him well, whereas Ladybird (Woolworths) he could never fit into - far too narrow - but they fit tall, skinny dd. You probably just have to shop around to find the make that fits best - what about American styles such as Gap.
I think it is a shame that you cannot buy children's clothes in waist size and different lengths rather than just ages.

Try New Look. I know it's really aimed at teenagers, but has trendy clothes at cheap prices and a wide range of sizes
