I want to make a page in a photo album with ds's hand and footprints on...
what do I do them with?

poster paint?

sponge some watercolour (kids cheap stuff fine) onto foot/hand (foot really is easier and looks better) and use coloured paper. we did birth announcements for dd2 with pink mottled paper and white paint.

will it come off ok afterwards?

ELC do sponges soaked in paint which you can top up for doing hand/ feet painting without the mess.

Have babywipes handy to wipe it off immediately.

A nice idea when they are small is to do your handprint and then theirs on top in another colour.

I did this with dd when she was a few months and it is one of my ost treasured momentos.

i did loads and only about 4 or 5 were so smudgy that they were unrecognisible. practice makes perfect

starlover · 10/03/2005 19:29

hmm, i will have a practice then before I do the actual thing.
I suppose it makes sense to wait until he is asleep as well... I wanna do it right now though!!!
