Hi all

I know someone on here will have the solution to this one!
How can I clean the limescale off the inside of my kettle, without having to buy an expensive product!

Please help

I use vinegar and water mixed and boil it up leave it for a while. Usually works.

50/50 water and cheapie white vinegar. Fill the kettle with it, boil (standing well back from nasty smell) and leave overnight. the vital bit is to remember to rinse it REALLY well before making tea the next morning.

Another vote for vinegar and water - not too full though otherwise it foams up and floods the kitchen (can you tell this is the voice of experience?)

Make sure no one makes themselves a cup of tea before you rinse it out
