oil rig jobs?

does anyone or dp/dh have a job on oil rigs? dp is very interested, he is a mechanical engineer, does anyone know of any companies taking on at the moment? or have any advice?

nope but my friend's dh used to work 2 weeks on 2 weeks off for BP just off Aberdeen

try the jobserve site - www.jobserve.co.uk - you can search by industry and location - so engineering and Aberdeen should bring up relevant jobs. Also the individual job ads will give the details of the recruitment agency handling the vacancy - it might be worth registering with a few. HTH

Be careful though as there's an outfit on oilcareer.com who charge for CVs and the like and you never get any offers.
