New job as a home help

Not sure if anyone can help or whether this is the right place to ask, but here goes... my friends mum wants a new career has no experience in this field but would love to be a home help. She doesn't really want to be a carer, has no idea how to get into this. any ideas?

what about volunteering for home star to get some experience?

Tell her to enquire with Age Concern, they are often getting enquiries about this sort of thing, and may well have some suggestions of what to do next.

Otherwise why not advertise in local paper?
