Hello - does anyone have any idea what to do with used, but in good condition, maternity clothes? Does anyone know if there are any charity shops that take them? I could do eBay but I've got so much I don't think I'll have the time. Any suggestions would be great - thank you.

You could bundle them up in a big lot, maternity clothes always sell well.

i did ebay mine in one big lot - didnt take long to list , just take pictures and describe as 'as seen' you will get something for them, then donate cash to whatever charity. or list them on here as free fro postage.

Yes, charity shops will take them. When I was pg with Dd, I was in and out of all the charity shops and was repeatedly told...' oh, you're the second lady to ask this morning'. They invariably didn't have any though and I ended up buying new stuff.

Your local NCT or LLL might run a maternity clothes lending scheme - our LLL does and it is very popular. In our area maternity clothes that are not a size 10 are in big demand (for some reason that is always the size people give!).

Hi - thanks for all your replies. They are in good nick, yes. Mostly H&M, Next. All size 12. There's a good bin bag full, I reckon. practically all trousers (5 pairs, roughly) and tops. Some more summary and some winter. Been through two pregnancies - one was a summer baby, the other born two weeks ago.

I would be interested in winter ones!!

I am 17 weeks pregnant with second baby and am roughly a size 12/14

Where abouts are you? Do you want to sell them or will you send them to a grateful mumsnetter

If you choose the latter - I will of course pay postage x

Ah well I'm too big anyway
