Do i need to have a haircut first before i put colour on my layers? (its not a whole head dye judt the layers)

FWIW, my stylist highlights my hair first, then cuts it after she washes it.

yeah, when I had my layered hair highlighted it would be highlighted before it was cut. so don't see that you would need to have it cut first.

I would say "don't go there" to home kit hair colour but have been known to try it, much to my distress after. Good luck.

well what ive bought is the new Garnier multi-lights kit and all it is a comb to comb thru my hair and my friend will do it for me

id have it cut, but thats me. however, if you have it cut a while after, it will'boost' the colour again

I've been using home hair colour kits for years and think they are great. haven't yet tried the highlighter one. when i used to have it done professionally they would colour first then cut. Good luck!!

Hi. I've used this product a few times and it is great.....the best on the market, I think!!! and I have used a lot of colours before.
