...................DH reckons I might be a teensy bit addicted to MN.

he is talking of setting me a weeks ban

I think I may need to start proceedings......

((you all need to find in my favour BTW. tis the MN 'watching each others back' rule of practise))

tell him mumsnet will start stalking him if he doesn't let you come on.

Kewclotter · 27/09/2008 20:41

definite grounds for unreasonable behaviour. On his part obviously.

WigWamBam · 27/09/2008 20:42

Divorce. Definitely.

Or guillotine.

littlemissbossy · 27/09/2008 20:42

A weeks ban? he's not your parent!
Get yourself a top mn lawyer I say!

Doctorpuss · 27/09/2008 20:42

tell him to give up golf/crap music for a month (equivalent of week MN)

psychomum5 · 27/09/2008 20:44

Well yes it's a reason - but could he counter-sue on the basis of your unreasonable behaviou surfing here? Better hope the judge is a mnetter!

onepieceoflollipop · 27/09/2008 20:47

Take your laptop (or move your pc) into a different room and claim to be "ironing" Anytime he complains just smile sweetly and say fine, you do the ironing darling.

psychomum5 · 27/09/2008 20:47

oooh.......

coppertop · 27/09/2008 20:47

Call for the locksmith immediately and get the locks changed. You cannot possibly stay with such an unreasonable man.

ImnotMamaGbutsheLovesMe · 27/09/2008 20:48

You need to ask?????

Some men really don't get it, do they?

psychomum5 · 27/09/2008 20:48

coppertop....he is working tomorrow.......that is the ideal time

onepeice......ironing being the MN excuse.....

Have you got some bin liners ready to dump put his stuff in?

NorthernLurker · 27/09/2008 20:55

I think I know at least one poster who 'folds washing' a lot. Personally I find internet banking takes up an awful lot of my time

Doctorpuss · 27/09/2008 20:55

Cardboard boxes better - then leave on wet lawn/near sprinklers

onepieceoflollipop · 27/09/2008 20:57

oh yes. I also find nipping upstairs to clean the loo (we have two) is also quite effective.

psychomum5 · 27/09/2008 20:58

DoctorPuss....seriously, that was done??? kudos to who did it......

ImNotMamaG........nope, men just do not get it at all!

copper......plenty of binliners

northern......I will sort myself out with and internet 'job' ASAP

Tortington · 27/09/2008 21:01

it depends, if he thinks you are taking time away from the family - then he has a point.

psychomum5 · 27/09/2008 21:03

well....when I know he does have a point, I do listen

but to ban me completely........unreasonable in my opinion

OP posts:
Doctorpuss · 27/09/2008 21:03

Yup. It was a case of it was dumped on the already trashed lawn (by car tyres going over it many times), and he had to get to new home before it rained or his stuff would be wrecked.

ivykaty44 · 27/09/2008 21:05

Ok so when will MN be named in divorce procedings? For the first time and how often will this event occure?

psychomum5 · 27/09/2008 21:10

can you imagine the judge tho, when it first happens for real???

lady judge, goes in favour of the woman

man judge.....he will join dadsnet before making judgement!
