Anyone used a 'sniping' tool for Ebay auctions?

did it work? Which one did you use? there is an item on ebay I really want but I'll be at a children's party at the time the auction ends! Am wondering if it's worth signing up to a 'snipeing service' to put my bids in for me.

I use lotsnipe. It bids about 20 seconds before the end of the auction. Have won some and lost out on a few things. Worth a try though.
