Help!! what shall I wear??

I have been invited to a fancy dress party, in the theme of movie stars, I think just about anything goes.

My problem is I am a curvy size 20 and I have a false leg (uncovered) so sexy short outfits are out.

I am having trouble finding things that will look and feel good - I thought of a pirate (for obvious reasons!) as I dont mind my leg being shown off

Anyone got any ides? or even better any costumes

My stock fancy dress outfit of choice is Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction. Fancy dress shops will have a suitable wig, the rest is dead easy.

I do like idea of the pirate/false leg look though but have no ideas about what you could actually wear - sorry!

You could buy a costume, but the plus size ones seem to be really expensive. There's one here that might work, but not sure. But unless you already have a corset and full skirt, or something, by the time you've bought all the bits, you're probably looking at spending that amount anyway.
