Child Modeling Agencies. Are they dodgy?

Have been told by friends etc to get ds 4 months doing a bit of modelling. Wondered if anyone had any experiences or could point us in the right direction....would be nice to top up his child trust fund! I'm not one of those showbiz mums,honest!

wondering about this myself but they all seem to be london and i don't want to travel from midlands all the time.

I think they are all in London....I think it's dodgy that they all ask you for cash. It's probably quite a lucrative industry, maybe I should set one up myself....(sorry thinking out loud)

Some are, some aren't. There's a child modelling thread here where some experienced mothers can give you advice on who to avoid.
