No idea if this is the right part of the sight to ask the questions but anyhow

We have a babe of 20 weeks and just about to put him in a cotbed and vaguely heard about the importance of the right level of the matress ages ago but have forgotten what it was all about, pulling themselves up or somethint it was way back when my hormones preventing me from remembering anything useful!!

we have three different levels and hoped someone could remind me of why and which he should be have at the mo?

Tks

Do you mean the mattress height or a mattress standard?

they can be on the highest level until they can sit up by themselves - this is so you don't kill your back by bending right down to pick them up.

put them down to the middle level when they can sit up, and the bottom level when they can pull themselves up to standing.

always best to do it when they're looking like they might do the sitting/standing soon, as they'll do it very suddenly and scare the life out of you!
