"Congratulations on 40 years of marriage"

Doesn't need an apostrophe in years'? Or does it? More I look at it, less sure I am and we're going to the party in half an hour!

What is wrong with my brain these days?

I would say that it doesn't need one.

It doesn't need an apostrophe because its the plural of year. Apostrophe is for missing letter (as in doesn't) or when its something belonging to someone (as in Martha's parents). HTH

Enjoy the party

NB What is wrong with your brain is that you had children. They killl brain cells

Will you be singing btw?
