Ohhh noooo! This happened to us too Stupid bastard made a good bid, then emailed me to tell me the car's mileage was too high (he hadn't even asked what it was when he emailed me!).

eBay didn't make us pay the seller's fees, but they did make us pay the listing fee. And the stupid tosser left negative feedback for me (I got that removed too). And they suspended our account while it was all being sorted out too. That was my first (and last) experience of eBay.

That is so annoying for you!
What are your options now?

You can choose how long to offer a 2nd chance offer. I think you can do it for up to 7 days. The buyer can take it at any time during the length of time you selected.

AuntyQuated · 19/02/2005 20:15

bl@@dy nuiscance. I take it you've reported him to ebay. you can also go to advanced search in the top left hand corner of the screen. look at items by bidder, include items already closed and ones he wasn't a high bidder on and see who else he's shat on today- you could email them to let them know.

Ebay will refund the final value fee but that takes time

Don't blame you at all. I've got tonnes of baby stuff to get rid of. Too good to chuck and don't fancy giving it to charity if I can make a few quid out of it. Will have to look into e-bay.

gingerbear · 22/02/2005 15:37

How much did you charge for post and packing YG?

gingerbear · 22/02/2005 15:38

Glad that it has had a happy ending.
