Eyeliner pencil????

Hello. I am not a person who wears make-up really, but have decided I want to look older as I can never get served in bars and people always assume I am 16 (I'm 27).

So, my question is...how do you put on eyeliner pencil??? I practicd before, but it looked really silly. Does it go on the top of your eyelashes only or around the rim of your eye????

i put my pencil under the bottom of my lashes and on the very edge of my top lashes and smudge slightly. However for a more defined look it may be worth getting a liquid eye liner

I don't apply it to the inner eye line but put it on my actual lash line and blend it so it isn't a hard line, I do put a small bit on my upper eye line towards the outside of my eye for definition before applying mascara. Hope that makes sense!

thanks, that is really helpful. I just need to practice as I keep poking myself in the eye.
