near death experience

There was this fascinating programme on last night about this topic,did anyone see it?What about the blind woman since birth looking down on her body?Has anyone had an experience like this?it was truly fascinating especially about all the research going on into it,they think that the mind could live on after death if only temporarily.

I watched some of it, about the women with the anurism (sp?), freaked me out a bit.

My ex-boyfriends dad had a heart attack and died, but was brought back to life several minutes later and he said he saw a light pulling him towards it, and he felt such a feeling on peace and inner calm and told us he was never frightened of dying.

I do personally believe that there is something else, and as the programme stated the these people saw people they had known and loved in the past is a very nice thought if actually true.

Yes wasn't it weird as she was an excetional case as they proved she had her experience when the brain was clinically dead which is impossible!It really changed their lives,especially that rich entrepreur who is now a councillor.Amazing.

My next door neighbours daughter crashed during childbirth and she can distinctly remember looking down on herself with the doctors trying to resuscitate her and thinking that she had to go back as her first two children had already lost their father in a coach crash and she was damn sure they weren't going to lose their mother as well. She survived (obviously) even though she lost so much blood. My auntie also swears she's had an near death experience but she is barmy as a fruitcake so I wouldn't know whether to believe her or not.

Podmog and Robinw what it was on the programme about the womans case was that she was clinically brain dead for an hour while she was having surgery on this brain annurism-and it was during this time she had this experience where she was looking down on them operating before she went off into the tunnel and light and met some relatives etc,and the bit the doctors were flabergasted was her accurate discription of the instrument the doctor was using and the conversation between the surgeon and the aneasthetist about the problem of the arteries in her leg being too narrow.She then went on talking about the spiritual side of it saying she heard her granmother calling her and her uncle took her back when she didn't want to go .She asked was the light God and they told her the light is what happens when God breathes.She said it had changed her life.
Podmog,I hope your dd is ok now.When you say it's recorded what do you mean?do they have to register these experiences?

There was a researcher in England,a team from Holland and in America I think which is where this woman was who was operated on.They were saying the whole thing about researching is they find it difficult to predict when the experiences actually happened with people.
