Dp and I are getting married on Friday and this is my last day at work, so I'm not sure how much time I will have to post and thank you for all your help and advice during the planning of this wedding. To date you have:-

reassured me about the dress

given advice on the gift list

helped choose the hymns

given advice on the speeches

helped with cake

discissed children and weddings!!

music for signing the register

There has also been help on flowers, invites, who should walk me down the aisle, and you have tried really, really hard to help me loose weight but I'm going still going to go down the aisle in my size 14.

I'm sooooo looking forward to it, ds1 and 2 (8 and 11!!) are best men and dd is chief bridesmaid. Only nervous about walking down the aisle as I won't have my Dad with me, but Fil to be is stepping in not to give me away but to provide a supportive arm!

So thanks for all your help - it's taken me ages to find the threads - no wonder the NHS is in financial crisis

For those that don't know me I am lilibets dp (and used to post on here quite a bit when I had more time!).

I just wanted to say thank you for all your warm wishes for the day after tomorrow (wow is it really that close??), and also a big thank you to everyone on mumsnet - both for the wedding advice and for always being so supportive to us (but especially lilibet) through lots of hard times and good times alike. If ever advice is needed the first words out of both our mouths is 'put it on mumsnet!' - and sure enough almost immediately help will always be given.

I am under strict instructions not to follow any links containing the word 'dress' so will happily leave that a surprise for Friday!

Picking up suits later - not long now!

It's now THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW!!!

Good title for a disaster movie

We had the rehearsal last night and at the bit where the Minister said "does anyone have any reason....." ds2 shouted "I do - he's a Liverpool fan!"

And one of dp's friends has dared him to do it on the day!!

Anyhow, going for a wrap tomorrow so I am just that little bit slinkier!
