Solicitor asks for my medical records. Cost £30. They send only records from when I joined the surgery.

Eventually they admit they have more but they are in the archives. Another £20 to get them.

I know, I know, time to get them out etc but I have to pay £50 to prove someone hurt me.

Did you ask for all your records? - that'd then apply to the archived ones as well.

The solicitor will have asked for all of them.

Can't your solicitor argue that, then?

They are getting them all now.

not aware of your situation of what you need them for (claim etc) BUT if you are claiming then surely this will be covered in the eventual claim reward (if successful..?)

Let's hope so.

It is difficult paying out money in advance we haven't really got.
