My dd(7yrs) was really into these a few months ago. Looks a bit like a minature macrame (sp?) Sorry I can't help with the making of them as I never got into it with her but you can buy books showing you how!!!! She made a coca cola bottle as her piece de resistance WHY?????????

Are these the things made from plastic string? We used to do things called Scoobys which were kind of like the knitting you did with a cotton reel with 4 nails in it
