I have no phone service at all. For the third time in not so long.

It starts crackling, then no-one can call you, then you can't call anyone.

So now I am completely cut off from the phones of the outside world.

My DH is away during the week, and because of a series of things has the only working mobile

DS2 is with his grandparents, and so they could not contact me in an emergency

I have searched the virgin website for a meaningful address to send a message to, saying "this is now urgent please get your arses round here".

I do have an engineer coming on friday, but that was just when it was a vague crackle, not a total loss of service, I would like them to come earlier

suggestions?

my mum has had this, she WAS strangley enough ALWAYS able to call virgin/ntl?

you can go onto their website and log the prob..if you aheva prob with broad abnd you can actually get real time, help dont know if thats the case with phone prob though?

or can you email a friend to ring them (give them your apsswords etc) and tell them whats happend?

Sorry, I dont know, but thought you might like to be amused by my feelings on Virgin communications. We've had some shite from them, and in fact our internet is down.

It's a thing what you plug in the USB socket that connects to the internet doodah via mobile phone through the bluetooth whatsit.
