I Was a Body Shop at Home consultant.
I realy loved the job and the products.
I earnt anything from £30-60 per party and I was doing 1-2 parties per week.
This was all great all the time I could get parties booked but after a while the bookings fizzeled out.
If you want a guaranteed income I would go for Tesco's.

Hope this helps.

thanks Tas1. really weighing up the options - need more inome and could work in the evenings i think (as well as what I do in the day) and am quite sociable so thought party type thing would work. but hate the idea of hassling people all the time to book a aprty! We've recently moved here and don't know many people yet so thought it would kill 2 birds with 1 stone

You can make good money from the parties like tas said about £60 on a good night. I found it quite easy to get bookings only to have alot of last minute cancellations so although I was aiming for 2 parties a week I usually ended up with 3 or 4 a month.

I'm not a pushy person so wasn't comfortable with persuing people to rebook. I think you do need an element of pushyness about you to keep up momentum

I do Usborne and do similarly well with that - you can do the parties or, especially over autumn/winter there are a lot of ladies shopping evening and christmas fayres etc. Give me a yell if you want to know more about it hun.
Hope you find something that works for you.
