Book People - Active Readers Sets - Any Good?

In their Feb catalogue, 12 books for £7.99 seems a good deal, but would they be helpful my nearly 5 year-old ds? Was looking at the 4-6 age range.

I buy a lot from them and think that the sets are quite good. I use the books with my own kids or as birthday pressies. hth
