Reducing hte speed of lorries - I wholeheartedly agree with this and see the benefits
Deterring lorries from driving through the village - again i see the benefit.
BUT in practice, if the lorries are still using hte village, drivers that are legally entitled to drive at 30mph are going to be frustrated behind the 20mph lorries, with no scope for overtaking.
