If i have an area thats 2.5m long by 1.m wide (thats 8ft x 4ft), what's the total area squared? (am I even phrasing that right?!)

If it helps, I'm trying to build a chicken run and I need to know the area inside so I can work out how many chickens I can have

windygalestoday · 05/07/2008 16:50

32ft i think

IdrisTheDragon · 05/07/2008 16:51

32 square feet or 2.5 square metres

IdrisTheDragon · 05/07/2008 16:51

(you multiply the length by the width btw)

windygalestoday · 05/07/2008 16:52

to work out the perimeter you add together all 4 sides -to work out the area you times width by length (i think)
