The new crossroads......................any good?

I used to watch the old crossroads that finished last year, i thought it was okay and enjoyed watching it when ds ate his dinner. However i have heard that the new crossroads has got rid of a lot of the old characters, i have taped the omnibus, but is it really worth watching, any views would be appreciated, like who has gone and who has stayed. I heard rocky was still there (then has a heart-attack).

breeze, haven't watched it, but there was a review on Radio 4 the other night...cheesy but watchable was the overall opinion, I think, though I was cooking at the time and helping dh with dd's bathtime fun...so I could have missed a crucial bit!
