Excellent. I bet they look beautiful. Nail bitten fingers look so ugly. I used to bite my nails as a kid but was given fixed braces on upper and lower teeth. Couldn't get my fingers in my mouth properly to nibble my nails. It stopped me.

A thread close to my heart! Struggled with this for years and have now more or less stopped but my nails seem so weak and break easily. What might help? Anyone?

SPARKLER1 · 29/01/2005 21:52

my nails are very weak and I find wearing nailvarnish really helps.

Well done

I have always bitten my nails too. Only manage to grow them whilst pregnant.

Mine are so short they are sore and look very very ugly.

charleypops · 30/01/2005 00:04

Well done Yorkiegirl!

I bite mine too, they look awful and I'm embarrassed by them. I'm thinking of getting extensions and weekly in fills just so I can grow them.

I can do them myself but I just chew through them after a couple of days . Hopefully the expense will be a deterrent.

Malava (sp?) do a good nail hardner apparently.

Maybe we should start a MN Nailbiters support group

Good luck Yorkie!
