Do any of you mumsneters live in or around Burgess Hill?

I have just moved here from London and I am looking for some genuine friends in the area as I do not know anyone and am getting rather board of my own company!

Hi Willum, I'm in Crawley, not too far down the road!

We are local too- what age are your children?
Have you discovered the fantastic new softplay on Victoria industrial estate?

I'm actually in Brighton , so not far at all. Miggy - Ds and I are meant to be at a party at the new play place in Burgess Hill, CJs tomorrow.....small world eh?
Willum - how old are your children?

Thank you for your messages, I have one son and he's a year old. I have not really discovered anything yet as we have only been here a few weeks. So far I've been once to the toddler group at St. Andrew's church and once to the toddler group at St. Wilfred's church as these were listed in the Grapevine magazine, everyone was nice enough, but they all seemed grouped off already, if you know what I mean, so it was hard to try and join in.

I know the industrial estate, what, where, when etc. is the soft play?

If any of you would like to meet up somewhere that would be fantastic.

I found CJ's a couple of weeks ago - what a fantastic place, thanks for the tip. Ds was a bit unhappy at first because he is not used to other children but we have been 4 times now and he loves it.

Have also got our name down for tumble tots at Hassocks to start after easter, so we are getting out and about a bit now.

On a different subject were do you go to shop round here?. We tried Brighton and it was crazy busy and had v. expensive parking so it put us off going again. Did we just use the wrong car park or is there some where easier to shop?.
