I have been looking around for bedroom furniture for DD - She has a 4 poster bed in White (White company) and the wardrobes are currently built in so need to stay until we remodel.....I am looking for Chest of drawers/bookcase/bedside table and she would like a dressing table - I have tried all the obvious White Company/John Lewis/Habitat/M&S and can't see something clean line and modern that would suit a 7 year old - we are not MFI/Ikea people (and rubbish at anything self assembly)- Anyone found a shop or site that would suit please - I think I am looking mid price range - John Lewis Type - thought I might find something in sale season - Help please appreciated. Thanks

next is mainly self assmebly so check first beofre you order. also we found when ordering for my eldest sons bedroom that a chest of drawers in next was £300 and the exact same set was £60 in argos and as much as i thought i hates argos furniture, and was very snobbish about ordering it, i have to say i am really pleased with it.

the set for my son is called charlie and they do it in pink too, we were so impressed we brought a set for my daughers room in white with pink heart handles. very cute and surprisingly sturdy.

a tip though buy an extra pot of wood glue as you don;t get enough in the pack and look in your local paper/newsagents windows for a handy man who will come and assemble it for you. def worth the cost.

Belle Maison were great for us and it is real furniture although a little more expensive
