the headmaster at ds school is retiring after working there probably longer than i have been alive!

apparently there will be a collection for him, but, as he has gone above and beyond the call of duty with my eldest son and built up a somewhat more personal relationship with him i would like to get him a present just from us and show our appreciation.

but, what on earth could i get him ?

How much do you want to spend?

As Ruby says, booze is usually a good choice. Vouchers are good, too. Not just for shops but cinema/restaurant or something like that. If you want something more lasting, a photo frame or pen, maybe.

digital photo frame? Depends how much you want to spend as they are expensive!

PTA · 27/06/2008 17:41

What about a digital photo frame?

StealthPolarBear · 27/06/2008 17:43
Shock
Twelvelegs · 27/06/2008 17:48

What about an introductory golf lesson?

PTA · 27/06/2008 17:53

Saw one on the Boots website for £40. They also had those "Event Days" experiences for half price so there might be something there that would suit.

Have a look at the I Want One of Those website (iwantoneofthose.com). Loads of fascinating gadgets on their, lots of them quite techie. You might find something there.

digital photo frame would be an idea.

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 27/06/2008 18:14

no idea
if you're going for engraving, a nice pen? Also agree that a letter of appreciation would be lovely!
