For one hour over this weekend

count the number of birds you see in your garden or the park

Then you can fill in a survey form and RSPB can find out how many of each bird there are in gardens or parks

Perhaps it would be fun for children to do as well

If you are interested, there is a counting shet that you can print off to make it easier.

I'm up for that, I think my kids will love it! I spent quite a lot of time when I was a child bird-watching. (nothing else to do pre-playstation, videos,sky,after school clubs etc-God, I'm beginning to sound like my mother!)
