Recycling Christmas cards

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but does anyone know where I can recycle Christmas cards this year? I'm sure last year that all the big supermarkets were doing this but can't find anything locally. Thanks in advance

Hi Lindy
Most schools and playgroups want them for cutting and pasting, thats how I recycle mine (Of course I'll get most of them back stuck in a big clump on A2 sugar paper..)

Our local Tesco has (or at least had earlier this week) a Christmas Card recycling point.

Our local Tesco & WH Smith are both collecting them.
I've been following the 'skint' thread so have picked out the best of ours for next years gift tags. (Sometimes I really think I need to get back to work (tongue in cheek !!))

Thanks for your quick responses, thats what I love about Mumsnet.

Yes, I have kept some back to make my tags for next year!

Soyabean - that's what I'm trying to avoid!
