Hotel stay ideas for child

Hello,
Im completely stuck for ideas. My 6 year old daughter has asked to stay at a hotel for her birthday. I’m looking for inspiration/ideas/ recommendations for either hotels that are special or cool for children. Or special day trips/ things to do that we could just get a cheap hotel next to it. She’s quite a typical girly girl. And would need to think about toddler sibling!

My budget is probably £200ish. And we live Hampshire way so something not too far from there.

I’ve looked into Legoland etc and they are all coming up close to £300/400 which is a shame!

My 6 year old loves the Tower of London. Proper castle vibes. Looking at the crown jewels, learning about the menagerie, the top of the White Tower is good. Albeit I appreciate it might be too tricky doing all the steps with a toddler.

You can often get a good deal at the Apex Hotel near there. If not the Travelodge London City isn't too far and is very nice and often can be got for a good price.

The Postal Museum is surprisingly brilliant, particularly it you book the Sorted play area.

Have you looked at gullivers?

They have cool themed rooms which are much cheaper than merlin

Why does she want to stay at a hotel? What aspect of it appeals to her? Mine have always loved the buffet breakfast - both the variety and the all you can eat aspect - so that would be a must for us. They also used to like the fact that we were all in a room together. We stayed somewhere once when they were young which had child sized dressing gowns in the bathroom and, as there was also a pool, we wore those down to the pool. Minds blown! Plus we went swimming before breakfast on the second day.

Premier Inn Tower Bridge and a couple of days in London.

My Dd asked for the same aged 6 and it was lovely! We put her younger sibling to granny and it was just a nice time to focus on her. She loved the fancy stuff in the room, tv in bed, the pool and the buffet breakfast. All the things we enjoy too I suppose! Don’t overcomplicate it I’d say, to her th new environment will be great. We brought a game to enjoy over dinner.

We went to Lego land and stayed in the De Vere hotel in Windsor, worked out really cheap. They do a great kids buffet dinner and have a nice play area and free old school arcade and ice cream shop.

I would pick somewhere with a pool - doesn’t need to be fancy. London city hotels are often cheap at the weekend. Mine also liked watching tv from the bed and ordering room service!

Butlins Bognor in the hotels NOT a chalet. Great pool and my kids loved the breakfast.
