My son is at a tournament on Sunday in Sheffield. I have agreed to take another boy from the club too and initially was not going to ask for any contribution to petrol from his parents.
Anyway I saw his mum last night and she asked how much I wanted her to contribute for the petrol. I am very skint this week so don't really want to turn the help down however I also don't want to take the mick and ask for too much.
So, does anyone know roughly how much it would cost in petrol from Hull to Sheffield? And say if the petrol was going to cost £20 all in all, would it be ok to ask for £5 towards it or is that too much?
