Hi, went to dentist today and need 3 teeth removed
two wisdom and one back molar all on the same side. Wisdom teeth came in growing sideways instead of up through the gum and have crashed into the other molar underneath causing trouble
Im absolutely terrified
it’s too be done in the dentist and costing me a fortune. I’ve had nightmares about loosing teeth all my life so this is very much ‘ my worst nightmare’
Im looking for some advice or experience of anyone else having this done. A realistic recovery time not just what the dentist cheerfully said and an actual experience of the pain and process involved please.
Thanx so much
Toothless

Dont worry it will be fine. You cant feel anything. I had 4 wisdom teeth removed in my 50s as they decided to come through late in strange ways and additionally I have three dental implants and just about to get another one.
The only problem I had was a tired jaw from keeping my mouth open for a long time.
The most painful part of it all is parting with your money 😂
Recovery time probably about a week as you'll have quite a lot of bruising.
You'll never notice a back tooth missing.
Wisdom teeth left in place are incredibly stinky so you are better off without them.
Mine csused really bad breath and once they were gone no more bad breath so its a relief.
My horror is having bad breath not losing a few useless back teeth.

thanx so much for your reply, i was told it had to be done rather having a choice so it’s great to hear it’s the right thing from the patients point of view.
Ive never had any work done, don’t even have a filling so this was quite a shock!
