dear god.... what a horrible thing to happen

i'm so sorry your babymoon has been hijacked by this, and your wedding too.

you deserve a good moan ellie, you sound very calm all things considered.

i wish him a speedy recovery and hope he'll be out of hospital soon and you'll be back to enjoying your new baby together.

Ellie love I have just seen the thread. Knicker checkers linked it.

How is DP? Are they keeping you informed?
I can come up to you if you need a hand even if it is just to sit with your beautiful girl why you visit. St Georges not far for me to get too.
I know it isnt quite cake in Highgate but I dont mind if you dont.

Thinking of you and your two girls.

EllieG · 16/06/2008 11:30

Thanks so much people, god you all being so nice has made me cry again. Bloody hell they must think I'm a loon in here.

He's gone for his angiogram now, and hopefully will be clear and we can go home tomorrow. If not and needs surgery will be here for another 10 days or so, and in that case may well be taking up the offer of a cup of RL tea ronny and PAL, thank you for it, it means a lot x

Hiya Ellie, just adding another message of support (and tea and cakes oh and a nice glass of chilled rose...well a girl can dream can't she?). My Dad had dodgy heart valves since the age of 20 and had two rounds of open heart surgery and it was pneumonia that got him in the end - sods law! My step dad then had a heart attack last month - clogged arteries but is now fine - men and their hearts eh? Lucky we ladies are strong as oxes!
Anyhoo - safe to say I have plenty of experience of sitting in cardiac wards and am in London so just shout if you need anything - will be passing by your door on Monday 23rd pm if you are still there (I hope not obviously)
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

DonDons · 16/06/2008 12:32

Oh Ellie - so so sorry. Hope you are keeping your chin up and OH is recovering

edam · 16/06/2008 12:35

Gosh, that must have been a massive shock. Poor you and dp. Hope his recovery goes VERY well and you can rearrange your wedding as soon as possible.

EllieG · 16/06/2008 14:03

Woooooooohoooooooo!

Darling lovely DP is fine! He hasn't had a heart attack after all! They did the angiogram and his arteries are clear, but there was some inflamation to the heart wall. They said this was probably brought on by a virus, and that the effect of it was that it mimiced a heart attack by producing same enzymes in blood which is why he had all symptoms and the bloods came back saying he had had one. Could only tell by doing the angiogram that wasn't.

I am so so so happy - thank you all loads for letting me moan and for all the virtual cake. Am off home tomorrow and we can see DSD and plan another wedding!

Am off now to feed DD and do a little dance of excitement and happiness round Tooting.
