Just a quick warning to anyone looking at www.science-gifts.co.uk to purchase a science related present for their child. DO NOT USE this company. I really hope I can prevent other people from having the same experience I have had. I purchased a Tesla coil from this company as a Christmas present for my son. It arrived very late (after Christmas) even though I ordered it on 11 December. But that was not the main issue. The product arrived with a non-UK plug (it does not say this on the .co.uk website) and also does not work with a normal plug converter. Their customer service is appalling and they are refusing to refund me. Also, their return address is in France which they do not advertise on their website, in case you ever wanted to use your usual right to return a product bought online for any reason. AVOID this company to avoid disappointment. I will be purchasing gifts for my science loving boy elsewhere in future and would advise anyone else to do the same.
