I have two children, one five and one three. My five year old is severely learning disabled and autistic.
I am in bed with the flu, I tried to get the jab under ‘carers element’ but was told they were saving them for over 65’s and those with a chronic illness.
Both my children have been vaccinated, I’m worried about passing it on, especially to my five year old. Can anyone give reassurance?
TIA

They’ve been available in pharmacies for adults who aren’t eligible for free ones, doesn’t help you now of course but worth remembering for future years.

Vaccinated people can still get flu but usually just a more mild case.
