Why do so many parents insist upon dressing their offspring in those grubby pink clothes.... FGS !!!

OP posts:
PInkyStarfish · 19/12/2025 11:27

Do you mean the colour pink or pink clothes that have not been washed and are dirty?

everdine · 19/12/2025 11:28

It’s a personal choice how people dress their babies. When I had a girl some people did her buy her pink and frills!!!

MrsSkylerWhite · 19/12/2025 11:29

Because they like pink 🤷‍♀️

Justlostmybagel · 19/12/2025 11:31

Why are they grubby?

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 19/12/2025 11:34

Pinks my favourite colour and DD’s.

Whrn she was little she wouldn’t wear stuff unless it was pink

ShesTheAlbatross · 19/12/2025 11:37

I genuinely don’t know what you mean by “those grubby pink clothes”?

Are you talking about a specific brand or type? If not, why would pink be more “grubby” than other colours?

Erin1975 · 19/12/2025 11:41

It's fashion. It doesn't have to make sense. People spend perfectly good money on ripped jeans and similr nonsense.

ApolloandDaphne · 19/12/2025 13:11

Do you mean dusky pink?

OldBeyondMyYears · 19/12/2025 13:32

Can you add a picture of what you mean OP? I have no idea what ‘grubby pink clothes’ are! What do you have against pink??

(Not me sitting here in a pink t-shirt and pink cardigan 😂)

vodkaredbullgirl · 19/12/2025 13:52

😕

CrispieCake · 19/12/2025 14:11

I'm a bit baffled. I mean, my DD wears a lot of pink leggings of various hues and they do get a bit grubby and muddy at the playground. I've never seen them as particularly offensive myself.

Are we the people you're objecting to 😂?
