Sleep after septiplasty help

Hello
I had a septoplasty and turbinate reduction 2 weeks ago. My internal swelling is starting to go down so i can breath a tiny bit through my nose.

Now when i sleep i have my mouth tightly shut amd breath through my tiny nasal passages until i jolt awake feeling like im suffocating. Its been stressing me out, so i have a pulse oximeter which sits at 93 / 94 when this happens. Surely this is bad.

So my question is,.how can i make my mouth stay open at night whilst i wait to be able to breath properly again?

Are you sleeping propped up? For me that was the only way I could sleep for a while after nose surgery. It just seemed to be easier to sleep with my mouth open then.
