Winter coat for petites dilemma

Hi everyone! I am hoping for some recommendations.
i am 4ft 9 and currently in my 23rd week. I thought seeing as it is starting to get cooler i will try my winter coat to see how much room i have. Unfortunately not a lot, it does up but only just.

Can anyone recommend a nice warm winter coat for petites as looking at sizes up just doesn’t look right on my shoulders at all. DH even offered his coats bless him.

Any guidance would be amazing!

Do you need it to do up? Just wear a big scarf that tumbles down the front

I would do that but i take public transport for work and it will get too cold to not have a coat zipped up. Thank you for the idea though. I will certainly do that in the meantime 😊

Fellow shorter lady below 5ft. I have this coat, it’s long in petite, it’s below my knees, warm enough not to have to do up all the time too.I rarely do it up just because I’m too lazy to bend.

Not sure how long the non petite range would though.

I’d invest in a maternity coat to do you for this winter and next winter. They can be really useful for the year after birth so you can cover baby up when they’re in a sling. Verbaudet has some nice designs…
