I went into a cafe that ibe been to regular gor many years . Greek family cafe . Me and my hubby had a roast each which comes with a tea or coffee . I don't drink either so my hubby always has my drink one with his meal amd one after .it's never been a problem amd I order a cold drink. Yesterday tjr manager started shouting at us saying it was cheeky to have the 2 drinks as one should only be for me and one for him .my hubby thought he was joking as he couldn't get round it in his head why he was being funny . He explained we brought 2 drinks and 2 meals it doesnt matter who drinks them . The conversation ended up with a row and hubby said he's not coming in here agsin. I then spoke to the manager who was getting irate with me and I told him it's ridiculous rule and we won't be going there anymore. He was shouting go somewhere else I don't care etc . We have been going there for years and years and had alot of laughs with them . But realised the husband and wife who owned it can get really blunt amd rude sometimes with others . . So for 1 cup of tea they have lost us as customers it's a ridiculous rule do you agree .
