Hi I’ve got 2 pensions in my maiden name that I can’t draw on as I’m divorced but still using my married name
I got married in Sri Lanka in 1999 on holiday
I’ve tried to contact the authorities there but no joy .. the hotel has been demolished and rebuilt where we were married
I’ve spoken to both places that hold the pensions and they need proof which I can’t give of marriage I can prove divorce
ex husband ripped original cert up years ago !
if I changed my name back to maiden name by deed poll would that be ok
I have a birth cert with my maiden name also
can anyone advise me
