Perforated ear!!

I perforated my ear just over 11 weeks ago. It was caused my forced trauma so not by ear infection. The initial pain was horrendous but it was short lived in all honesty. Other than random shocks of pain for a few days it was okay. I could hear fine too. The ENT dr confirmed I had a medium sized perforation and it had gone all the way through. She said I takes around 8-9 weeks to heal. Everything g was totally fine, and I ensured I put cotton wool in my ears for every single shower. I was due a follow up 9 weeks after but it’s been rescheduled to 8th September now. I went on holiday last week and both ears were sore with altitude etc.. since my return (11 days ago), I’ve had an awful cough and in the past week my perforated ear feels full. I’ve a lot of pain on that side of my face and down my neck but not in my actual ear. I’ve got a terrible headache too. My temp has been sitting at around 37.2 - 37.7 which I believe is a very low grade fever. Dr checked my ear but it took three attempts and she finally said she could see dried blood and said just to go to my follow up appointment on the 8th. Has anyone had anything like this? Is it infected, should I be concerned or is this normal? I can’t cope 6 more days with the face pain tbh but dr kinda brushed it all off. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!! 🥰

I’ve had perforated ear drum a couple of times
ive always been given antibiotics immediately to prevent infection as having a hole in the eardrum brings a risk of infection
my perforations healed successfully
but I have impaired hearing, I’m told because of the scar tissue that the healing leaves behind makes the eardrum less effective as a hearing tool
