Tubes tied

Hi all. I'm having my tubes tied next week. Just looking for some advice. Stories. Comfort haha

I had mine done nearly a year ago. The recovery took longer than I’d expected but mine was a bit more complicated due to other medical issues. I have had other surgery as well due to endometriosis.

I found that I was bruised much much worse than any of my previous surgeries. The recovery took longer but that probably was affected by having an 18month old who liked to jump all over me. I would say make sure you rest!

the surgeon used 2 clamps on each tube and was absolutely lovely. They did check that I understood that I wouldn’t be able to have kids (think it was asked 3 times by different medical professionals)
