Skin tag on labia

I developed a skin tag on my labia a few years back.

I used some of that freeze wart remover stuff and it did go, however came back.

I’m now pregnant again and it’s returned. The freeze remover half worked, but not completely. It looks horrible. I’ve already got a horrible looking vagina and don’t need any help with making it look
worse.

How can I get rid of it before my C section? I guess I could go to the Doctors, but I’ve heard they don’t like doing anything when pregnant?

I don’t think you should be treating it at home. Get it checked out as it could be anything.

I’m pretty certain it’s not a genital wart as I’ve had the same partner for 10 years and it only developed during my 2nd pregnancy.

He also hasn’t ever developed anything like it in all that time.

I have read something about it laying dormant though?

I don’t know enough about it, but would my partner not have signs of it too by now? I seriously hope it’s not that!!!

Maybe I will book into the Doctors to get it looked at. I just hate getting my vagina out, but I’m sure they’ve seen plenty of others!!

The doctor has seen absolutely everything.
I can assure you nothing in your body is likely to be the weirdest version they have seen

we women often think our genitals are ugly. Apparently they are not!! They are flowers. 🙂

Don’t worry about having a horrible vagina. It’s not like penis’s are nice to look at 🤣

All “vaginas” and penises are objectively pretty fugly. Plus a doctor won’t give a shit about the aesthetics of it. They won’t be looking at that. They’ll also have seen it all - including genitals of people very elderly, and with injuries, various diseases etc etc etc. I really don’t think you should worry about it, yours is likely top tier in comparison to some of what they’ve seen!

I also really don’t think you should be freezing things off your own fanjo (or anyone else’s for that matter!).

I don't even know what mine looks like tbh. But I do know that every woman's vagina is different and there is no right or wrong as regards good looks.

I had a skin tag removed but I was getting a mass removed from uterus so they did it at the same time- but the gynecologist said it was a really easy thing to remove - she would have injected local anesthesia and removed and 2 stitches - but she did it when I was fully out under general anesthesia - but it’s not something to do at home was my impression - like a skin tag anywhere on your body

Definitely get it checked by a Dr. Genital worts can lie dormant, you could have contracted it 20 years ago and not know. Also I remember reading (over 20 years ago now) when I had CIN III that mothers can pass the virus onto babies when birthing, so you could have always had it, if that’s what it is.

im not saying that to scare you, more to get it checked. The information may well be out of date now but you can never be too careful.

I’m not going to say I would recommend this but this is what I did….I developed a large skin tag on my labia after pregnancy. I applied Emla anesthetic cream & with sterile, sharp scissors I cut it off. It bled like buggery for a few minutes then healed up nicely never to be seen again. That was about 12 years ago.

As the 100 on here testify, it is all subjective. A vulva is a vulva, as long as is healthy and clean.
Any concept of cosmetic beauty ideal usually comes from porn tbh. I know some women who wax but vajazzling is not needed, love. And yes, the doc will have seen more fannies than Anna Richardson!

I will go to the Docs to get checked just in case. Urg. God I seriously hope it’s not genital warts.

But in terms of the appearance of my vagina, I have pretty large labia and honestly it looks awful. Sorry for the over sharing!! I haven’t seen anyone else’s real-life vagina to compare, but I just know mine is not pretty!!

You’re being really hard on yourself, what you may consider not pretty, others would consider beautiful Just think, get the appointment out the way, it will put your mind at rest.

The skin tag on my arse hole has just been surgically removed. Turns out it was part of a prolapsed hemorrhoid and I had some internal ones too.... External one snipped off and internal ones banded to fall off sometime soon.

I have had a teeny skin tag there for over 20yrd but went to get it checked last year when it suddenly started to grow much bigger and interfered with wiping my butt.

I have never had a single symptom of hemmorroids that I know of!!

Mate, no one judges someone elses vulva.

If you're pregnant, I'd suggest your partner finds you - and by extension your vulva - plenty attractive enough.

There is no beauty competition for fannies unless you are do pornography.

Stop maligning your highly useful, fully functioning vulva. They come in all shapes and sizes.
