There are companies which will sell you door and drawer fronts to replace them, so you'd have to price yours in a way that would tempt people to go for yours instead of new ones, but no reason why people wouldn't buy them if the price was right (and they were a fairly usual mix of sizes)

PinkChick · 28/05/2008 12:39

well i wouldnt have asked a lot for them?, but no idea how to price them?
Yeah fairly standard sizes and like i say wall ones would come with carcas as well, so no prob in matching..
so how would i get to an asking price?..maybe ebay would have some on???

If you google "replacement witchen unit doors" you should find the companies that do new ones. I'd look for something similar there and add up what they'd cost, then charge maybe half to two-thirds that?

AMumInScotland · 28/05/2008 12:49

or even "kitchen"... dunno what you'd find othewrwise...

PinkChick · 28/05/2008 13:31

ebay can be very variable - it sometimes depends about where you are and whether you can ship them as much as the actual price

PinkChick · 28/05/2008 19:58

looked in lcoal gazette tonight and there are one or two in there..one lot going for £200?, but maybe its nicer than this?..i think theyre rather nice, not really my taste but very homely and expensive looking?

OP posts:
AMumInScotland · 28/05/2008 20:31

Well if they're solid oak they were probably pretty expensive new, so I'd be tempted to put a fairly high price on them. £200 doesn't sound that much if there's quite a few of them. People will often try to haggle anyway, so if you put them on at £100 someone would probably try to get you down to £50, so starting at £200 should get you more than £100 anyway.

PinkChick · 28/05/2008 21:09

dya think??

theres ??..erm..a tall boy, two glass fronted approx 800 doors, 3 x 600 solid doors on wall units, plate rack/shelf, corner double shelf, doors housing sink, two floor 600 approx doors and 4 drawer fronts???? all the wall units can be taken as well, dont think floor ones will be much cop?..i would have neevr thought £200????

AMumInScotland · 28/05/2008 21:23

this lot have prices for new ones - see what they would cost from somewhere like that.

PinkChick · 28/05/2008 21:57
