We're moving from Aldershot to Edinburgh in about 4 weeks. We're going to have to let our house in Aldershot and rent in Edinburgh as we have a fixed rate mortgage and would have to pay a huge penalty in order to buy in Edinburgh.
Problem is that the vast majority of houses in Aldershot are let unfurnished, but nearly all properties in Edinburgh are furnished. We've found a decent house in Edinburgh and have paid a fee to secure it. We're now worried that we're not goimg to find a tenant for our furnished house in Aldershot.
DH has started faffing about asking the agent in Edin to find out if the landlord would be prepared to put his stuff in storage blah blah blah.
Argh it's all so complicated and with so many variables that I can't even be arsed to type it all out. My head is buzzing with problems.
Not sure why I'm posting this....there's no solution. Just venting I suppose.
