bank accounts

i am trying to open a new bank account after some financial problems. i only want a basic one ie no credit on account but would really like one that i could do food shopping on internet. is this possible.

Natwest do one called the Step Account. No frills, no overdraft or anything but you do get a debit card.. might be ideal for what you need?

thank you. i have just opened one with hsbc. but i am finding it hard with no debit card. am expecting dc3 so really need to get into routine of doing internet shopping.
