Return to Work after birth

I need to return to work after only 13 weeks maternity leave, I have severe mum guilt but cost of living and finances are leaving me no choice.
Is this to early? I feel at total cross roads.
my head is saying for financial stability I need to go back but my heart is breaking into pieces. Any advice greatly appreciated

What are you going to do with the baby when you’re working?

Where I live it's the norm. My country scores much higher on child happiness and wellbeing surveys than the UK so it can't do them that much harm. I suspect you'll feel guilty whether the baby is 3, 6, 12 or 24 months though. I know I'm already feeling guilty that I'll be sending mine to nursery at 6 months. My colleagues and friends here find this so weird though because they think he'll be too old and won't adapt, plus my brain will go to mush and I'll get depression by not having some adult time at work!
